The Child’s Primary School (TCPS) middle school curriculum is research based, and helps our students develop interpersonal communication, problem solving, time management, critical thinking and advanced research skills to use in the classroom and throughout their lives.

CLASS
SIZES:
Small classes with no more than 16 students maximizes individual growth and learning.
SCHEDULE:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
EXTENDED CARE:
Extended care available until 5:00 p.m. at a reasonable hourly rate.

Middle School Curriculum
Our small class size provides each student with the attention necessary for maximizing individual growth and development. Students learn to feel safe to take academic risks in an atmosphere that nurtures their self-esteem and teaches responsibility for their own actions.

Students in grades 7 and 8 have the choice to take Spanish language class or a project-based Advanced Research class each day.

Where do our students go after graduating from the TCPS Middle School?
Our students are prepared for success in high school and beyond. Every year, our graduates move on to the most competitive private high schools in San Diego. Those students that choose a public high school, often enter into the honors, AP, and IB track.
