Mary Dew
Grade 1 Teacher
Mary is excited to come to work at TCPS each day! She grew up in St Louis, Missouri and earned her B.S. in Animal Science at the University of Missouri – Columbia. She began her career in education with the Education Department at the San Diego Zoo during summer internships and moved to San Diego in 2016. Mary obtained her M.Ed and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from UCSD while student teaching in a first grade classroom. She is looking forward to creating challenging and rewarding classroom experiences that inspire her students and teaching them skills for lifelong learning. In Mary’s free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, all things Hogwarts, and caring for her cat, Leonardo.
