Julia Campbell

Grade 5 Teacher

Julia has been working with children for over ten years, including teaching, tutoring and lifeguarding. She has worked as a preschool teacher, after school aide, and a teacher’s assistant in addition to a homeroom grade level teacher. Julia graduated with a B.A. degree in Child Development and Family Studies from California State University, Long Beach and holds a California multiple subject teaching credential. Prior to starting at TCPS, she taught second grade and fourth grade. Julia’s pedagogy focuses on the whole child, allowing for creativity and curiosity to ignite a path towards successful student learning. Julia feels it’s important that she truly get to know each student so she can build rapport with them and their families, establish strong communication and a partnership to promote learning. When Julia is not teaching, she enjoys roller skating, pilates, hiking, mermaids, spending time with friends and family, completing puzzles, and relaxing on the beach.
