Gesuri was born in Acapulco, Mexico and raised in San Diego, California. Gesuri received her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Women and Gender Studies, along with a multiple subject teaching credential from Cal State Los Angeles. She was very happy to return to San Diego after graduating from college. Gesuri first joined TCPS as a part-time substitute teacher, and in that role was able to get to know all of the students at TCPS. She was then thrilled to join the staff as a full time employee to be the on-site substitute and program support teacher and staff member. Gesuri is very excited to have the opportunity to gain more experience and knowledge to become a better educator. She hopes one day in the future to become a lead teacher in her own classroom. During her free time Gesuri enjoys reading Webtoons, walking, going to new restaurants, and knitting while watching horror movies!
