The Child’s Primary School’s annual Grandparents Day stirred up quite the crowd this year with over sixty proud grandparents in attendance. This is the biggest turn out the event has seen yet since the tradition began in 2011. Some grandparents came from the local area, some traveled across the world from China and Russia, one set of grandparents had to power through plane delays and bus rides to attend! One thing was the same for all however, it was an event worth attending.
The first: Not having to cook and all the yummy pastries.
The Second: A dance performance by professionals. Or.. well.. maybe one day they will be!
The Third: Bonding with others who have common interests, like how much they love that their grandkids are students at TCPS!
The Fourth: Playing with blocks and other fun things.
The Fifth: Enjoying someone else reading to them.
The Sixth: It’s a good reminder how happy life is without doing math all the time.
The Seventh: The awesome photographers at TCPS to take photos, because there is no way all these wonderful people would have fit into a selfie.
The Eighth: Hours with their grandchildren to learn how they spend their days.
We are so incredibly thankful for all the grandparents who came to share the day and we look forward to seeing you all again next year!
