Thank you to the wonderful TPG for putting on another successful Jogathon & Auction for TCPS -- the TCPS community had such a great time! This year's Jogathon theme was, "Under the Big Top." The day's events included acrobats, a magician, funnel cakes, popcorn, a catered lunch, auctions, and lots of running. The TPG transformed the entire event site into a circus, especially the indoors for the Auction.
Students ran laps to raise money for TCPS, while their friends, family, and teachers cheered them on by running with them, inspiring them with "shout-outs" from the MC, and serving them refreshments to keep cool as they ran!
Once the Jogathon portion of the event was complete, the community enjoyed a catered lunch before heading over to the Auction. The Silent Auction had a wide variety of items available including items donated by businesses in the area and members of the TCPS community; it also included fun events like "Teacher Outings." The Live Auction, led by TCPS Auctioneer, Rob, auctioned off beautiful original artwork that each TCPS created.
Thank you to anyone who sponsored a student's laps or bid on any of the auction items. The money raised at the Jogathon & Auction will be used to continue to make TCPS an amazing place for children to learn. Thank you again to those who participated in the planning of this year's Jogathon, especially the Jogathon Chair, Julia.
